Welcome to Fallston Christian Home School
Fallston Christian Home School (formerly Salem Christian School), is a ministry of Fallston United Methodist Church. We serve local Christian families in the Harford County, Baltimore County, and Cecil County, Maryland area.
Our goal is to encourage and inspire parents in the rewarding journey of home education.
The home education of our children is guaranteed in our constitution, and for multiple reasons, a growing segment of families are choosing to educate their children at home. Christian parents find that by teaching their own children, they can bring God’s word back into education. Providing children with a solid Christian education equips them with a sense of purpose and worth; knowing that they are intentionally and lovingly created to worship and serve God, and their communities. Within a safe and loving environment, they can discover their individual gifts and talents; develop intellectually, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
All of us at Fallston Christian Home School are committed to assisting you prepare, implement, and continue to teach your children at home. Our counselors are ready to answer your questions and help you plan each student’s school path.
By providing regular updates to your inbox, we are able to keep each family informed of events, links, articles, etc., added to our website. A monthly newsletter is sent by email filled with news from within the homeschooling community and opportunities or events that may be of interest to homeschoolers.
Discounted prices are offered for membership in The Home School Legal Defense Association, and as opportunities arise, we can often obtain discounts for other local events. We offer multiple and varied student & family events, such as dances, picnics, fairs, a Junior/Senior Prom, and Graduation.
We are proud of the reputation we have earned among both homeschoolers and local school boards. Our intent is to continue to share our knowledge and experience with those parents seeking support and accountability while homeschooling their children.
